Last night I went back to the office after visiting my mum who has now spent 100 days in hospital after major brain surgery. I did my 6k short run of 3 loops of Calder Park business park. As it’s a cold rainy evening I had to fight to get my butt out there. First lap was not quick, two laps I was onto my second best time and by the time I had completed 3 laps I had taken a minute off my PB and felt great!
Having stopped listening to music recently to give me better thinking time, last night I was back to listening to my audio books #askgaryvee, boy is that man crushing it!
Wow. Running in the flat lands, What a treat. Loops are always good for training runs but take more mental strength to stop pulling out when the going gets tough. Boy dun good
